Legal Question in Tax Law in India

To start a consuktancy/ service firm

Sir,

I am already working With some organisation. I have some oporunity to earn during week-ends. I know a company based in singapore which off-loads me some documentation (related to enginnering) work.

1. Is it advisable to open a seperate firm to receive this payments? From where can i get details for opening a new firm?

2. Is this amount taxable?

3. If i keep a mediator in between who is already working for the singapore company and then i bill to the mediator, how much amount of tax is liable? How to keep this amount seperate from amy cellaried income?

you can the details of opening of new firm from any chartered accountant and yes the amount is taxable and sorry i am not aware about the taxes but it is more advisable not to keep mediator and you deal with the company straight

yes it is advisable to keep separate account for these transactions and in any separate name, may be a company or even a proprietorship... if i am right u r based in Baroda and we have our office there.. u can get in touch for any legal advice..
