Legal Question in Traffic Law in India

My name is--name removed--D�Souza and I am a final year History student of St. Xavier�s College, Mumbai. As a part of my Current Affairs University Project I have taken up the issue of Hit-and-Run cases in Mumbai. In this I am also alluding the whole issue of Drunk Driving as more often than not, the accused in such cases are found to be under the influence of alcohol.
In my project it is imperative for me to include the laws regarding Hit-and-Run cases in India and abroad. However, I don�t have much knowledge of the same as I am unable to pick out the laws concerned. I would be much obliged if you could provide me with some information regarding the same. The following laws are the ones I thought are related to such cases�could you please tell me if these are all the laws or if there are any ones I�ve missed.

1. Motor Vehicles Act 1988 Section 134 - Duty of driver in case of accident and injury to a person.
2. 161. Special provisions as to compensation in case of hit and run motor accident.
3. 162. Refund in certain cases of compensation paid under section 161 (1).
4. 163. Scheme for payment of compensation in case of hit and run motor accidents.
5. 187. Punishment for offences relating to accident.
