Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
1.My sister married to a Hindu boy in June 2009.
2. They left their matrimonial house in August 2009 and started leaving in a rented house out of town beacause of her husband's Job in an another city.
3. My sister also got the job in the same city where her husband was working.
4. There were some disputes between them because of her job.
5. Unfortunatly her husband died in August 2010 with a will in favour of his mother, father and brother leaving nothing for his wife (i.e my sisiter).
6. Her father in law is the nominee of his all savings/equity - shares/PF/LIC and have a registered will in their favour.
7. Can my sister claim anything from her in laws as her husband had left nothing for her to survive.?
She doesn't want to go back to the matrimonial house.
Should she continue her job in this city out of her matrimonial house and live on her own?
Should we ask her to come back to our house and ask some claim from her in laws?
Please help.

she may keep working where she is working and you may support her.
your sister's husband could dispose his self acquired property in the manner he desired. She would need strong grounds to challenge the will in favour of her in laws. As regard working in the same city or to come back and stay with you and then make claim is a personal decision.
