Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
No body though has challenged yet but I would be legally correct in all procedures. My mother has written a will in which I have been made her legal heir for all her assets. The will is simple which has been duly signed by independent witnesses. The will has not been registered in the court nor it has been probated yet.Is there a requirement of will to be probated? If yes, then by what time frame? Can the assets(property) be mutated without a will, as I am the legal heir. There is not any problem on bank accounts as they were jointly held.

It all depends on the place of death and place of will execution for advice.
