Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
There was a bunglow which was divided into several habitable units. Mr E.D lived in 1 unit as a child with his family, then with his wife, son n his mother till his mother expired.(The bunglow was owned by a Mr. L, their landlord.) There is 1 rent receipt copy of 1993 on mr. E.Ds. name .
His 2 brothers and sister let them reside there and there was an understanding that the property was for his sole use.
The dwelling went for redevelopement and Mr E>D> got a 2 bedroom apartment on his sole name (and paid an additional amount for extra area) where he now resides with his wife n son.
To establish his sole claim on the property what documents will he require from his brother, late brother's family, late sister's family to establish sole claim to the property.
His father and mother died interstate. Also his brother and sister are deseased

you need to have a relinquishment deed in case the apartment was purchased out of joint funds and in case it was purchased out of your own funds, you just need a simple declaration to that effect.
