Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Estates

My Late Grandfather had a residential property (purchased by him) coming under the city limits of Bangalore. After his death, as he had not executed any will, the khata of the said property was transferred to the name of my surviving grandmother, based on supporting affidavit of no objection from his sons and daughters (of whom all the daughters were married at the time of signing the NOC).

My Grandmother passed away recently, She had executed a will (just after my grandfather's death during the late late 80's) where she bequeaths equal share of above mentioned property to her sons (and a specific share to the daughters).

I would like to know if the will can be executed as per my grandmothers wishes?

We are governed by Hindu laws. The Title of the property still is in the name of my Grandfather
