Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
my father died and we had a home as the only property of ours , I ve read the registry of our home but i dont see any nominee in it .
I want the home to be transferred in the name of my mother and me as a nominee.
apart from this we lived in a nuclear family and my father had a brother too .
kindly tell me the best possible solution for which i should go .

If your father died without a will, You cannot transfer the property only in your name and your mother's name jointly, as your brother will have a share.
However, it is possible for your brother to give away his right in your/ your mother's favour and that document has to be registered for achievement of your objective.
