Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My father had died after making a will. the will is prapaired by taking the signatures of 2 witnesses & medical certificate is taken on the will from the doctor as he was a patient at that time, his thump impressions were taken on all pages . The will is not notarized or registered. no executioner was appointed.

Is such a will valid in the court of law.

What was his mental condition at the time of drafting of the Will. ? Was he educated ?
