Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
My father diesd this year keepin his Property in my name . I need to take the probate . But what stamp duty is required for the court. My father already registered the land and paid when he was purchasing it . the property situated in Lake Town kolkata. Can anybody help with information do I need to pay any stamp duty if YES then how much ?

no stamp duty is payable at the time of filing of probate petition. The stamp duty will be payable at the time when probate is granted and the letter of administration is to be issued
