Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My father expired , in my father�s name 2 properties are there & no will also. Children�s are legal heirs to this property and mother also. If my mother have debit note .after her diet ,how is the responsible to the debit ?. before deit she can sale her share for the debit to 3rd party?
