Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in
My father has left a registered will in my name. The property mentioned in the will is a Flat in Mumbai.
I have a sister who has been opted out of the will as her name is not mentioned in the will. I am declared as the sole executor and beneficiary in the will.
My father has directed me to pay a certain amount to my sister which need to be paid to her within one month of his death.
The Flat is in a cooperative society and my father has also registerd me as a Nominee of the said flat.
My father has made this will in 2006 and he exired in 2011.
Can my sister challenge the will?
what steps need to be followed in such case?
how do I get this property trnsfered tyo my name?
