Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
My father's brother has made a WILL on my father's name for his 50 % share of his flat.He told my father that he has written a WILL in his name & kept the WILL with his wife. The WILL was not registered. He & his wife has no legal heirs. Their flat is on joint name with him & his wife situated in Pune. Now my father's brother has died & his wife is not ready to disclose her late husband's WILL to us. She refuses to Show us his WILL & she wants to give the whole flat to her sister. How can we get to know the contents of the WILL & how can we make her disclose the WILL, which is in my father's name ?? Can my father stop her from selling off the flat ?? Kindly advise. Thank you.

as you neither e have a copy of the will, nor the will is registered, there is nothing that can be done in this regard. the wife can give the flat to whosoever she likes.
your father's brother should have given a certified copy of will to your father. anyway now you can sent a legal notice asking for a copy and if she does'nt no option but to file proceedings in the court and issuing summons for producing documents.
