Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

a gift was made from my father to one of his sons, this was made 35 years ago and was registered. it was promised that more land would be brought with this money and divided among the other brothers. this was not done, my brother brought more land but has put this in his sons name. can i do anything now.

If the gift deed is an unconditional one you can't challenge it. Secondly the promise was oral hence you can't do any thing about that. In that situation only thing that could save you is that the gift must have a conditional one. call me for more clarification.

if that promise was incorporated in the deed than u can otherwise u may not
