Probate is filed if there is a dispute amongst legal heirs of the testator and not otherwise. .....................Please check Sanjay Kalra and Associates on the internet to know more about our law firm and the legal services we are rendering for our clients from all over the World.

Dear Sir / Madam,

(Thane, Maharashtra)

Ideally, a mutual settlement amongst all the legal heirs is recommended. But there is always a risk that a legal heir may feel he has not received an equitable settlement. To avoid any complications amongst the legal heirs now or in future, obtaining a Probate for the transfer of the property in the name of the beneficiaries named in the Will is advisable and recommended. If straightforward, award of Probate can be completed within 6 months.
