Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

I have a landed property with farm and coconut trees. It has been given on contract base to third party since 8 years. Third party has to take care all of it and has to give me some predefined certain amount. I want to know that is there any clause in law that if it has been given since 8 years or more than 8 years. so can that third party claim some share in that property ?

once the contract is there, the relationship would be decided as per terms of the contract and in case it is not written in the contract that after 8 years, the other party may claim some share in the property, then how can the other party claim it.
