the landlord can evict the room from the tenant. if for how many months the tenant has not paid the rent

Under the delhi rent control act, the landlord can sent a notice of recovery of rent after the lapse of 2 months and if the tenant does not pay the rent after the receipt of notice , the landlord can file a petition for eviction against the tenant.
