Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
Making a will on a charity
I want to make a will of my properties, bank accounts and locker on any charitable organisation that is run by the government. Is it possible legally and how securely the will is executed after my demise. Can u name any such organisation which serves the poor for free in India, if possible in Andhra Pradesh.

It is legally possible to make will of your entire movable & immovable properties.. However when you have such properties why you want that somebody should help you free of charge? This appears to be strange & illogical

It is legally possible to execute will for the creation of trust on your self acquired property. Naming trust is not possible by third person. It is your choice.

You may consider making a will in favour of the Collector of your District with a mandate to use the funds for benefit of poor through the Red Cross Society or any other similar society in your area.
A copy of the will may be deposited in a seal cover with the office of the Collector.
