Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Hi, My mother has made a handwritten will in my name. I want to make a copy of it just in case it gets accidentally damaged. Will a copy with original signatures of my mother and the witnesses be valid in the Court of Law? Please suggest. If not, what is the alternative of protecting the same?

yes, in case the signatures of everyone are original, it is valid. better get the will registered, so u wont need to go through this process as the certified copy of a registered will is as good as original.
