Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

A person X makes a irrevocable registered will, under which X's house is given to one of his two sons. I know that the will cannot be changed under any circumstances. But can X sell off his house during his lifetime thus making the will meaningless.

Will is operative after the death of the testator so the testator can change , modify or do whatever to his will in his life time. There is no concept of irrevocable will under the law .Yes , X can sell his house in his life time........Please check Sanjay Kalra and Associates on the internet to know more about our law firm and the legal services we are rendering for our clients from all over the World.

There is nothing like irrevocable Will. A testator can change the Will as many times as he/she may like.

X can sell the house, as it is his property. Executed Will cannot prevent him.
