Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
Right to Property
We live in a joint family with my grandparents in Mumbai. The house belongs to my grandfather. My father passed away 3 years ago and now we are worried if my grandfather can throw us out of the house and not give us any right to the propert. Is this possible?

Re: Right to Property
dear sir,
you have not cleared whether the house is joint property or the same is exclusively owned by your grand father purchased from his own funds?nevertheless,if the propery belongs to family then you people have the right in the propery and i the picture differ and property is self acquired property of your grand father then he has the right to dispose the same according to his own wishes.
for any other query / assistance cal on 9873343288.
thanks.

Re: Right to Property
It is not clear wether the property owned by your grandfather is self acquired or ancestral. Consult a local lawyer with all facts - he will be able to help - you, mostly you should be entitled to a share in your Grand Father's property.
