Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Ram from Gurgaon calls up Rao in Noida and invites him to join him to see RA-One (noon show) in a PVR-Gold Cinema in Ambience Mall in Gurgaon on 28th October 2011. Rao agrees. On the agreed time and day Rao turns up at Ambience Mall but Ram is not seen. Rao tries him on mobile but Ram wouldnt take the call. A frustrated Rao was moving in circles thinking what to do next, having come all the way from Noida to Gurgaon after driving for nearly a two hours. He suddenly finds Ram coming out of PVR Cinema with some friends. He had just finished seeing RA-One (morning show) with some other friends. He says this and a sorry to Rao and leaves the place with friends.

A shell-shocked Rao felt humiliated. Rao wants to teach Ram a lesson and sends him a legal notice through a lawyer claiming damages. Ram admits inviting Rao to the movie as claimed by him but denies any liability for damages.

If Rao goes to court will he get damages from Ram? Reply with reason/s in brief.
