Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

A remainder estate person deceased before life estate person of a sale deed which was inherited in 1965 in Tamilnadu in India. The remainder person died in 1991 and life estate died in 2004.The sale deed clearly mentions that the sale deed property to be attained by the remainder estate person after the death of life estate.

Both the life and remainder estate have got legal heirs.Now what will be the scenario.

the property may go to the government.

The property would devolve upon there legal heirs and it will not go to the Government as mentioned here in above.
