Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Rights on property/assets

I m a retired man. I am having my own earned properties/assets. There is no ancestral. My only son is not living with me right from his marriage i.e. since 2000. In other words, with his family; he is living separately in other city away from me. He is going to become a father shortly. My questions are:

(i) Is my son has any rights on my property/assets?

(ii) Is my would be grand son/daughter will have the rights on my property/assets? If yes, at what quantum?
