Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
Share in the property
1) According to Christian Law, do all the children get an equal share in the property if the father has not left a will?
2) Also is there a law which states that one can only sell the bungalow but not the land on which it stands?

Re: Share in the property
it is the general law applicable on all that all the legal heirs of first class will get equal share from the property of the person who died intestate.
there is no value of any property without its base ie earth under it so the structure can not be sold without the land under it.
its commonsense and not law but can be explained legally.
