Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
Sir, please inform me the precautions that one should take when writting a will. Is a combination of a typed and handwritten ( in the handwritting of the person making the will) will better than just a typed will to prove its genuinesss? Thank you for your previous answers

handwritten will of the maker is the best. the maker should sign each and every page of the will. Leave margin on the left. In addition to signature, the maker may also put his left thumb mark near the signature and must state in the will that he has put thumb mark for identification. the will must be attested by two witnesses who would also state that they have signed the will in the presence of maker of the will and in the presence of each other. that is to say all three, maker and two witnesses should be present at the same time when signing and this fact must also be written at the end of the will.
