sir, my wife is died without make nomination in bank locker now bank want succussession certificate from me .in my family only me and my minor doughter(11years) kindly guide me if it is neccessary to obtain certificate and stamp duty will count on current price or other ways(in locker gold ornaments only)

if they are clearly asking for succession certificate u have to go by that only

you may go for succession and there may be nominal court fee for locker.
