Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
Sir,A land has been purchased by my grandfather in 1956 in favor of temple created and maintained by us. My grandfather in such purchase document made my grand mother as AKTAR of such temple. But he hasnt created any trust and registered it. Now both have expired and their children now decided to create a private trust. kindly guide me regarding the procedures and documents required for such registration.

the trust deed with the memorandum is to be registerd by the subregistrar

You may form a religious trust and get it registered with the Registrar of Trusts in your city.

Trust Deeds needs to be register and also you need to inform the Charity Commissioner in your area.
