Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

How much stamp duty should i pay

My grandparents bought a flat in mumbai in 1975, it was in my grandmom and grandfathers name,

In 1996 they added my mothers name and fathers name. later on in 1996 my grandmothers name and then my grandfathers name was deleted from the flat.

Now are my parents liable for any stamp duty?

i live in mumbai, maharashtra, in a society which is registered and conveyance paid by it.

Re: How much stamp duty should i pay

Since their names were duly added as owners, they may not be liable to worry for any stamp duty at this stage.

No need to pay stamp duty unless title is transferred to third party.
