Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My wife lost her mother at the age of 2years. She has a elder sister also 1 year older. Her father remarried and has two daughters and one son through the second wife. Recently he died and had made a will in favour of his secon wife and children born through her, leaving nothing for the children through 1st wife. The will seems to be registered. Can the said will be challanged?

in case the property was self acquired by the father, he has all the rights to will that away but if its a joint property, then every member has an undivided share and the will can only be affected as far as the share of deceased is concerned.
