Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My wife's last surviving parent(mother) passed away recently in pune, India. My wife is the only daughter and has one brother. According to her brother the parents have left all their property to him and his children through a will which he is unwilling to share. can my wife compel him to share the will and how ?

in case your brother in law is not showing the will, there are chances that there is no will or even if there is will, he might have forged the same. your wife can file a civil suit for partition and possession and can also seek stay against her brother from disposing off the properties.
