Legal Question in Workers Comp in India
Variable Pay
I worked in a company whare variable pay is being paid end of each FY and it is part of my CTC (30% of my basic). On 9th dec they have issued a circular effective from 1st dec 2008 if anyone leave the organization company will not give the variable pay i.e. in order to get variable pay he/she needs to be company payroll. I have submitted resignation letter on 9th Nov '08 now company is telling (verbally)they will not give me variable pay. Is my company legally do this? What legal action I can take to recover my variable pay?

The action of the company and your entitlement may depend upon the contract / offer of employment.
