Legal Question in Disability Law in Indiana
If I am the co-signer on a loan and I am no longer with the person I co-signed for is there any way I can get off of the loan? I have not made any of the payments and the loan is from 4 years ago. I keep asking him to refinance but he tells me he can't. Could this be done in court somehow?

Unfortunately, you're probably on the hook unless the lender decides to be kind, generous, forgiving and understanding, and takes you off that hook. Legally, they don't have to remove you. Part of the reason they gave the loan was the extra security that apparently, you provided.
