Legal Question in Administrative Law in Indiana

We are having issue with our neighbors regarding fence being cut and taken down. Informed them that they are responsible to maintain their part of the joint fence. So far we have been the only one to keep it repair. Cattle and Horses are on both properties

neighbor issues are difficult because one of the worst things to have is a neighbor problem. you don't want to sue your neighbor or get into an adversarial relationship - you will never have peace. while it is true that a joint fence or effort requires joint participation, there are responsible people and those who are not. my sincere advice is that ask nicely and if he doesnt want to participate in the repair then you do it and eat the cost. undoubtedly you could find a lawyer that will charge you thousands to litigate and you will end up poorer and unhappy. good luck.
