Legal Question in Banking Law in Indiana
About 3 years ago, I purchased a car from a gentleman who in turn signed over the title to me. I wrote him a check for the amount of the car. The check was never cashed. He is now 3 years later wanting the money from the check that he found uncashed. Do I still have to honor the check?
