Legal Question in Banking Law in Indiana
Joint bank account with father and step-mother.
I am a 22 yr. old male and have worked very hard and saved my money. I had in access of $30,000 in the bank and I had my father and step-mother on my account. I am the only one that have made deposits of my checks into that account. I never gave them permission to take my money. My step-mother and possibly my father also went into my account and took all my money. She also opened up accounts in my name and now the debt is about $50,000 from that, so I'm looking at over $80,000 missing. Is this legal? Is there a legal recourse for me to take. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Sounds like there was a violation of a fiduciary duty, id fraud and a few other possible issues. Contact the Lake County Prosecutor.
