Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Indiana
2004 Examination
My ex-wife filed for bankruptcy about a year ago. We divorced 2 years ago. I have not received an order to appear at a 2004 examination. What is this and why would I have to attend?

A 2004 examination is an examination under oath. I cannot say why you would be summoned to one, as there are an infinite number of reasons for this. Usually, someone--the Trustee, the US Trustee, a creditor--is seeking assets, or trying to determine if there has been some sort of fraud or other impropert conduct.
Since you will be under oath, I would advise you to consult an attorney experienced in bankruptcy law to assist you in understanding the process and in preparing for, and attending the examination.
