Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Indiana
my brother-n-law lied when he filed bankruptcy
my sister was going through all her paper work because she is going through a divorce and found out 2 years ago her husband filed bankruptcy and lied stating he was divorced and paying 165.00 a month in child support. cant he get in trouble for this? and what should she do? [email protected]

Unless she suffered damages as a result of his lies in the bankruptcy proceeding, I'm not sure what gain she would have by bringing that to the attention of the bankruptcy court.
If she does decide to report him, she would need to call the clerk of the bankruptcy court where the case was handled, and they can tell her how to proceed.
