Collecting on life insurance policy while in bankruptcy
Can one spouse collect life insurance on the other spouse if they die during the bankruptcy period?

Generally yes-Life insurance proceeds are exempt under Indiana law as long as you keep them segregated-so if you receive them deposit them in a separate account and dont co-mingle them with other funds. Consult an attorney as soon as possible. So sorry for your loss
