Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Indiana
Having to file bankruptcy a second time.
During my divorce 10 years ago had to go thru bankruptcy due to husband. new husband of 9 years, became disabled from work injury after 26 years. Due to extreme expenses in Oct and after struggling for 3 years we are sinking fast. Can we file now? How will court look at the fact I had to do this before?

Re: Having to file bankruptcy a second time.
The code states you cannot file for six years after filing of a chapter 7 bankruptcy so you are well within the time limits. Your prior bankruptcy should have no effect on this one.
