Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Indiana
Filing for bankruptcy
I filed for bankruptcy in 1997 and it was discharged in 1997. How long before I can file again. Some of my debts were no DC'd the first time and I ahve incurred a great deal of medical bills that my insurance did not pay and the company I worked for is still trying to get these paid. I have had several judgements filed because of these. What should I do?

Re: Filing for bankruptcy
You may file six years after the date of the filing of your most-recent chapter 7 bankruptcy petition, which in your case would be in 2003. Look up the month and day that you filed, and then file after that in 2003.
Best of luck to you. Sounds like a tough situation!
