House in another state, leased out, can I file bankruptcy?

I have a house in another state that is currently leased out, because I cannot sale it. The people living there are not taking care of it. I cannot afford to keep making double house payments and keep up with my other bills. What are my options? Should I file bankruptcy?

If the out-state home has any equity, you should try to work something out with the lender; maybe they will take a deed in lieu of foreclosure. If you want to consider a bankruptcy case, you should consult with an attorney located in the place where you have been residing during most of the last 180 days.
