Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Indiana
Mortgage
I have my first meeting with the judge and creditors on 9/23/03. I am not filing a form to keep my house. I am letting that go. Can you tell me how long it will be from the time of this meeting until the day the bank will take over and I will have to get out?? Is it that day?? or is it another judgement day??
Much appreciation!!

Re: Mortgage
It depends on where the bank was in trying to collect when you filed your BK. If they haven't started foreclosure, it could be six months or longer. You have until the day of the sherrif sale to move. Discuss this with your BK attorney and ask for help
