Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Indiana
We have several questions with a chapter 7 bankruptcy in Indiana. First, we allowed a relative to use our car as collateral (we did not cosign & they are not on our title) & they have now defaulted - will our bankruptcy save our car? Second, what is the statute of limitations on personal income taxes owed? The taxes we may owe are from 2000 - we had an audit in summer and the IRS has not gotten back to us...can we discharge them? Lastly, my husband signed on a student loan for his daughter back in 1994 which has not been paid - can we discharge that debt also? Thank you, Carol Evans
