Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
6 months ago I purchased an existing hair salon. The previous owner signed a non compete contract with me. I recently found out that she is in fact performing hair services on several of her previous clients out of her home ( clients that were supposed to retail with e business). I know I have no say over where these customers get their hair done but is there anything I can do as far as the previous owner retaining these clients and breaking our contract?

Violation of a non-competition agreement is a breach of contract case, which requires a court proceeding to enforce. You would need the services of counsel to properly proceed.
One of the practical problems, though, in any situation like this, is being able to prove, according to legal evidentiary standards, that the agreement is being violated. Often its hard to find people who are willing to come forward to testify that they were solicited by the breaching party.
