Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Hello I am a american small business owner that has been contracted by an Italian Automated Machine Builder to Install and service their equipment that is being install in one of the big three automotive companies. They paid the first two monthly invoices, but have put payment on hold for the last three months invoices. I had been hopeful that we could work things out however I am starting to think legal action may be necessary ? Can someone advise on the best approach to resolving this payment issue.
I think they have incorporated in the US in NewYork How can I check on this?
Can I put a lean against there machinery that is located in one of the big three's facilities?

Your contract with them might dictate the jurisdiction, venue and forum of any dispute. You can check with the Secretary of State of N.Y. for incorporation information. You cannot place a lien against any property which is not actually owned by them.
