Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
I have a band and recently formed an LLC but I am the only member owning the company. can I consider the individual members as sub contractors instead of employees so I won't be responsible for the taxes and social security etc.?

As a franchise attorney I can tell you this is a very, very b-a-d idea. Independent contractor arrangements are the most-challenged category by the IRS and state taxing authorities. You're not the only one who has considered escaping withholding taxes, social security, etc. If it was this easy, everyone would be doing it. Don't fall into this trap, unless your idea of a good time is being audited and paying back withholding taxes, plus interest and penalties. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
