Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
My business partner and myself have decided to part. He is requesting a buy / agreement. Feb. 14th. we verbally agreed from that day forward I would be silent in the company. I no longer receive wages etc. Because my name is on the business as agent am I solely still responsible for reporting of taxes etc. He is taking much time in providing an agreement. Can you advise?

All of the duties and responsibilities of each partner need to be spelled out in detail and properly. The odds are good that you will have problems if you try to draft this agreement by yourself. You had best go to a lawyer and get it done right. This isn't a home-improvement do-it-yourself project.
