Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
In the case of acceptace of tender letter of award of work was given on 1-1-2006 but contract was signed on 19-7-2006. date on the stamp paper was also 19-7-2006. however, in the contract the clause interpretation includes the term "effective date". and the effective date was 1-1-2006. my query is whether effective date can be retrospective date? or in other words can we bind the parties for the acts done from 1-1-2006 to 18-7-2006?
