Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
client-attorney relationship
we spoke with a lawyer in 2004 regarding our fraudulent loan with our mortgage company. He heard our claim, saw our evidence and told us we had a case. He called us in to answer questions a couple of times as well. About 6-8 months go by with him never returning our calls or emails. then he finally answers and tells us he sent our paperwork to a different address. A year later later still no word, we finally get him and he acts like he didnt know that we wanted him to file with the courts. Finally in march of this year, he sent us papers filed with the courts. I looked up some info on him and found that he usually represents mortgage companys. Is it possible he is trying to botch up our suit for his own gain? Or am I just really eager for this to be over?
