Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Corporate Divisions
I was wondering if it is necessary to file at the state level for different divisions within a corporation. For example, Microsoft has three different division with one being the Business Division. Our corporation is adding on a new service and want to have two ''Divisions'' with presidents for each. Can the divisions be contained and named without using dba's such as Luck Express Inc. Logistics Division and Expedite Division with presidents for both. Our bylaws call for a president for each operating division. Please let me know or if you have other questions. Thanks
